Too Hard on the Soul

I am drawn to water; I think it’s slightly magical, the way it reflects, moves, and is never the same thing twice. Much of my work plays with water in its various forms: rain, snow, waterfalls, rivers, lakes. One of the reasons I like working with urethane is that it starts off in a fluid, aqueous state, allowing my colours to mix like water would.

Behind the scenes. A giant sail...
Behind the scenes. Steve Driscoll and his fearless right-hand man, Mike Shore.
Behind the scenes. Finn O’Hara using his camp counsellor voice to get things straight.
Behind the scenes. Making sure the painting didn’t take off was an epic workout.
