Too Hard on the Soul

I am drawn to water; I think it’s slightly magical, the way it reflects, moves, and is never the same thing twice. Much of my work plays with water in its various forms: rain, snow, waterfalls, rivers, lakes. One of the reasons I like working with urethane is that it starts off in a fluid, aqueous state, allowing my colours to mix like water would.

Behind the scenes. Making sure the painting didn’t take off was an epic workout.
